Alex Djuric [Duotone]

Two-time State Freestyle Kiteboarding Champion Alex Djuric is as dedicated as they come when it comes to kiteboarding. It has been a very fast learning journey for this self taught freestyle pro. After his first taster lesson with WA SURF five years ago, Alex invested in some gear, watched a lot of videos on YouTube and threw himself out there at The Pond with the locals which gave him the motivation to keep pushing himself to get better and better each season.

All the hard work has been paying off for him with some pretty impressive results in the Freestyle competitions over the last few years. His first WA State Freestyle Titles in 2020 he placed 2 nd and then placed 4 th in the National Freestyle Titles in Adelaide that same year. In 2021 and 2022, Alex took out 1 st place in the WA State Freestyle Titles.

Alex is also a Duotone Team Rider, using the specialist freestyle kite, Vegas, and the Team Series board - a solid board which is not too heavy, allowing him to do his tricks nice and fast while feeling confident in his gear.
