WASA Strapless Big Air Coaching
Strapless freestyle relies on advanced board skills to execute moves like spins, flips, grabs, and rotations while in mid-jump. Much like twin-tip big air, strapless big air is one of the most challenging yet impressive disciplines in the kiteboarding world. Australia's James Carew and Cape Verde's Airton Cozzolino are two of the most talented riders in this discipline.
Our strapless big air kitesurfing sessions are for those who have mastered the basics of strapless freeride & freestyle kitesurfing. If you’re ready to take your tricks to the next level, our strapless big air advanced coaching sessions are for you.
The WA SURF Academy operates on the student achieving different progression bars once they master a certain set of skills. The student must meet the requirements of the previous bar before progressing to the next level.
The below table summarises the different disciplines and bar requirements the WA SURF Academy offers. Please use this as a reference when booking your session.
We’re excited to offer BbTALKIN headsets and video analysis as an optional extra for our advanced coaching sessions. These innovative communication tools enable us to provide an unparalleled coaching experience for our students. By incorporating BbTALKIN headsets, we can bridge the gap between coaches and students, ensuring real-time guidance and feedback during our advanced kitesurfing and wing foiling sessions.
Using this technology, our students can now receive instant and crystal-clear instructions directly through these headsets. Video analysis allows the students to see their progression and gain more productive feedback to work on for future sessions. These advancements not only enhance the effectiveness of our coaching but also create a focused and efficient learning environment.
