PATRICK SMYTH
Kitesurfer [Duotone]
Style: Wave
Water sport addict Patrick Smyth first picked up a kite in 2015 and hasn’t stopped kiting since. Always keen to give any sort of water sport a crack, kitesurfing came naturally to Patrick and he is constantly pushing himself to the limits. Patrick has competed in a heap of kiting and wing foiling competitions all around Australia, getting some pretty impressive results... in 2021, Patrick took out first place in the National Junior Championships in Victoria and in 2022 won both the Junior and Men’s divisions of the Quobba Classic down in Margaret River.

Being a wave rider, Patrick’s weapon of choice when it comes to kites is the Duotone Neo SLS as it is, in his opinion, the best for strapless riding. The kite has good boost and is good for waves, helping him smash those massive back rolls and jumps.
