Kitesurfing FAQ

Daylight Savings
Yes, we are available after work!!
Corporate Groups
We can cater for large groups with Kitesurfing, Windsurfing or a combo of both. These are very popular and you can download the PDF here.
Equipment
Yes, we are the company using those sexy new Cabrinha kites that are just so easy to launch!
Experienced Staff
ALL our people are IKO qualified, with our Head Instructor Chris Keyes having over 11 years' kiting experience (that's at the very start of the sport) and six years as a senior instructor. But there is always room for new blood. If you are really hooked on the sport, like the company and want a cool part-time job, ask Chris about doing an IKO Assistant Instructor's course.
How many lessons should I take?
We would recommend 3 lessons to get you safely on your way. You
would generally be able to hire kites after this period. Lesson Times
As a professional school we always have one eye on the wind forecast
and will adjust our lesson times to get you out in the best conditions
possible but we are available 7 days per week.
Buying Gear
We happily advise our customers on the purchase of the right gear for
them. We also have numerous second-hand kites for sale, plus excellent
beginners' packages.
Still unsure?
If you are interested but not sure if the sport is for you, by all means
come down and check out our centre free of charge. You can get a pretty
good feel for it just by watching the lessons in progress. Introduce yourself
to our instructors and let us know that you are interested, if we have
time we can show you a few things and even rent you a small stunt kite
for $15 per hour. If we are busy with other customers just sit back and
enjoy the show.
