KITESURFING AND WINDSURFING

Want to learn some great new skills and get qualified to teach your favourite watersport?  Join us in beautiful Western Australia this summer for some conditions that will blow you away.

WA SURF is a Yachting Australia Training Centre, and an International Kitesurfing Organisation Affiliated Centre. With our instructor courses, you can obtain qualifications from each of these organisations. We are also a WA Department of Environment and Conservation Licenced Tour Operator as well as an Australian Sports Commission AASC provider.

Our Instructor Courses are structured around a 6 week ‘zero to hero’ programme which takes you from beginner to instructor, with all the appropriate and sundry qualifications needed such as first aid and powerboat handling.  Accommodation, orientation and transport are also included in the package.

Around this 6 week format are 2 and 4 week variations to cater for those wishing to obtain skills only without qualifications, or the opposite for experienced sportspeople after just instructor training and certification.

The strength of our courses are definitely the conditions, with the majority of our Kitesurfing and Windsurfing instruction undertaken at Safety Bay, but also at other locations around Perth on the Swan River and Beaches. 

Accommodation is at the excellent Billabong Backpackers Resort in the heart of Perth.  It is a very clean and well-run 4 star backpackers establishment with swimming pool.
