The 69 Edition is designed for peak performance in light wind and professional world cup racing. Developed in The Gorge and Maui with the entire NKB racing team, it has been built to the ultimate limit in length and width specifically to comply with the IKA Production Box Rule, measuring 186cm x 69 cm. The volume of the new 69 Edition has increased dramatically to 86 liters, further pushing the boundaries of light air performance. The combination of width, volume and the finely tuned tri-fin design will get you flying upwind in conditions you never thought possible in a production board. The precision entry rocker and tri-fin design are incredibly easy and controllable on those long reaches and down wind legs in rough water conditions. The 69 Edition features a self regulating Gore-Tex vent plug and comes equipped with 5 race specific foot-straps, but will be delivered without fins.

The NKB Race Team has developed a line of exclusive NKB Race fins designed to suit a wide range of rider weights and wind strengths. These highly competitive fins will be available in sizes 42cm, 40cm and 38cm. We believe that fins are one of the most critical and personal components in kite racing and want to offer our customers the ability to customize their boards as they see fit. We have therefore implemented Tuttle Boxes in the 69 Edition to allow you access the widest range of fins. The 42cm fins are designed to be used when riding with the biggest kites out there like the Dyno 18 or Dyno 16. They offer the maximum lift and efficiency in light air. The 40cm fins are the clear choice when smaller kites and for lighter riders in the lightest wind conditions. The 38cm fins are for lighter riders or strong wind.
