The north extender, this is a fixed length 40cm extension that you use in conjunction with your standard mast extension to make the mast longer. If you check out the North sail brochures there are some lines like the Natural range where they have built the whole size range around one or two mast lengths with the xtender being used. Works really well, saves buying a new mast.
